Olympic hockey play starts today

It's time to get hockey going at the Olympics. Both Canada and the U.S. play today and are on TV. The U.S. plays Switzerland at 2 p.m. on USA, while Canada faces Norway at 7 p.m. on CNBC.

A few previews to get you ready:

Here's what TSN is saying about Team Canada as the tournament begins. Roberto Luongo will start in goal for Canada, by the way. Martin Brodeur will start Thursday against Switzerland. Of course, Stars captain Brenden Morrow is on Team Canada. In practice, he was on a line with Toews and Iginla.

NBCOlympics.com has a quick preview of the U.S. game, plus capsules of all 23 players. The U.S. has a tough game to start this tournament with Switzerland. That will be interesting to watch.
