About the Stars

The Stars ran their points streak to eight games (6-0-2) with a 4-0 victory over the Minnesota Wild at American Airlines Center Friday. Kari Lehtonen stopped 14 shots for his first shutout as a Dallas Star and his first since March 2009.

“It was nice. I wasn’t thinking about it that much anymore. It seemed like it wasn’t coming ever,” said Lehtonen. “It was nice. There was not much going on the whole game there. I give a ton of credit to our guys, how well they played and helped me out there.”

The Stars’ eight-game point streak has tied their season-high streak, which was 7-0-1 and ran from January 2 through January 20.

Injuries: F Adam Burish (lower body) is out.

About the Kings

The Kings won 4-2 in Columbus Friday night. Anze Kopitar scored three goals for the Kings, who have won the first two games of a key four-game road trip.

"We look at the standings. We know where we are. We know how important every game is. It doesn't matter who we play," said forward Justin Williams, who had three points. "It was great, getting a great start to this road trip, two straight, and now we're going to look to sweep the road trip."

The Kings are 9-1-3 in their last 13 road games.

Injuries: LW Scott Parse (hip) is out.
