Rangers still negotiating with Feldman
"Both sides want to get a deal done, and typically that's enough," Daniels said Friday afternoon. "The process is such so that you have an alternative if you don't reach an agreement, but we don't anticipate it coming to that."
Last week, when the figures were released, Feldman wanted $2.9 million and the club had $2.05 million. That's a gap, certainly, but there's room to manuver. The Rangers have not had an arbitration case go to a hearing since 2000.
