Ogando promoted to Triple-A

The Rangers have promoted pitcher Alexi Ogando to their Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate. After his ban from entering the country ended this winter, Ogando performed well in spring training and has followed that with an excellent stint in Double-A Frisco, completing 15.2 innings and allowing just four hits. He struck out 21 and walked five. The Dominican features a fastball that sits in the mid-90s and an intriguing slider/changeup mix.
