KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Rangers reinstated second baseman Ian Kinsler and infielder Cristian Guzman from the disabled list on Wednesday. They also recalled RHP Pedro Strop. Newly acquired Jeff Francoeur also arrived in Kansas City.
That means all four players are available for tonight's game. Kinsler, who has been on the disabled list since July 28, is not expected to be in the lineup. He's supposed to start Friday's game in Minnesota. Kinsler and Guzman were supposed to play for Triple-A Oklahoma City last night, but the doubleheader got rained out.
Francoeur, by the way, will wear No. 21.
