Martirosyan-Andrade in Macau?
By Dan Rafael
Junior middleweights Vanes Martirosyan (33-0-1, 21 KOs) and Demetrius Andrade (19-0, 13 KOs), due to meet for a vacant world title, most likely will do so in Macau, China, on the HBO PPV undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios fight on Nov. 23, according to Cameron Dunkin, Martirosyan's manager.
Dunkin said the deal isn't done yet, but that it's being finalized.
He also said that middleweight prospect Matt Korobov (20-0, 12 KOs), who was so impressive in destroying durable veteran Ossie Duran in the third round on June 15, will be back Sept. 7 in Los Angeles on the undercard of the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.-Brian Vera fight, assuming Chavez gets his visa and the card takes place. "Korobov will fight on the Chavez undercard and then we hope to bring him back to be on HBO in the fall," Dunkin said.
