Broncos' Bailey has first full practice

October, 9, 2013
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- For the first time since Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey suffered a left foot injury in the Aug. 17 preseason loss in Seattle, the 12-time Pro Bowler was a full participant in a Broncos practice.

Bailey practiced Wednesday and looks on schedule to play for the first time this season Sunday against the Jaguars in Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

“With Champ, obviously, we’ve been smart," Broncos coach John Fox said. "The medical people have done a fantastic job. He had a very, very good workout [Wednesday]."

Linebacker Wesley Woodyard (neck), defensive end Robert Ayers (left shoulder) and cornerback Chris Harris (concussion) did not participate. Harris wore his helmet for at least part of practice, but the Broncos were in full gear for the practice and Harris did not have his pads on.

Woodyard, Ayers and Harris all left the Cowboys game -- Woodyard was injured in the first quarter -- and did not return. All other Broncos players participated fully.
