ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Calvin Johnson has missed Detroit Lions practice for the second straight day. So did starting cornerback Chris Houston.

Houston has a hamstring issue he's dealing with and Johnson is listed as a knee injury. Johnson also missed last Wednesday's practice with a knee issue, but was fine to play Sunday.

Keep an eye on this -- and Johnson is tentatively scheduled to talk later Thursday.

Linebacker Ashlee Palmer also missed practice, but that is a typical Thursday off for the starter.

Among those returning to practice Thursday: Safeties Glover Quin and Louis Delmas. Quin told me yesterday he was fine, so it was likely just a rest-up healing day for him.

Oh, new wide receiver Kevin Ogletree was out there Thursday as well, wearing No. 11.

Official practice report comes out at 4 p.m. ET.
