Good morning and ROOOOAAARRR!!!!

For weeks, there have been questions about whether or not Detroit would trade for a wide receiver, or if little-used running back Mikel Leshoure would be on the move.

Well, today is the day whether that happens in a trade or not -- one way or another.

Unsurprisingly, Detroit coach Jim Schwartz had no interest in actually giving any sort of hint to what the Lions might try or not try to do.

"I don’t really have any comment on that," Schwartz said. "Our personnel department is always looking at ways to improve our team and I don’t think (Monday) or (Tuesday) will be any different and it won’t end then.

"Those guys are always evaluating the waiver wire, anything else like potential free agents, guys on the street that could help. We have had a couple big pickups since training camp began so I wouldn’t anticipate it being any different.”

Schwartz, though, said he has not discussed any trade rumors with Leshoure. The third-year pro could have his role diminished even more when Montell Owens returns from short term injured reserve after the bye week.

And now, a look at bye week news about the Lions from around the Interwebs.
