Practice report: No Johnson, Houston

November, 26, 2013
ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- In their only true practice of the week, the Detroit Lions were without three players -- cornerback Chris Houston, wide receiver Calvin Johnson and linebacker Travis Lewis.

Houston, who injured his foot Sunday against Tampa Bay, would be the biggest concern out of the group. Johnson typically takes at least one day of the week off to rest his knees, and with a short week, it wasn't a surprise he didn't participate.

He was out there stretching, though, so that is a good sign for Thursday against Green Bay.

The only game Johnson missed this season was against the Packers in October.
