While the Detroit Lions are still waiting on Travis Swanson, Kyle Van Noy and Eric Ebron to sign their deals, details have now emerged on the contracts of fourth-round cornerback Nevin Lawson and sixth-round wide receiver TJ Jones.
Jones will have the typical rookie base salary of $420,000 in 2014, $510,000 in 2015, $600,000 in 2016 and $690,000 in 2017. His signing bonus of $106,200 is his only guaranteed money.
His dead money starts at $106,200 for this season and drops by $26,550 each contract year. His cap number is $446,550 in 2014, $536,550 in 2015, $626,550 in 2016 and $716,550 in 2017.
Lawson's base deal is the same as Jones', but his signing bonus of $300,584 makes everything else higher. His dead-money number starts there in 2014 and drops $75,146 every year after.
His cap numbers are $495,146 in 2014, $585,146 in 2015, $675,146 in 2016 and $765,146 in 2017.
