The Lions, lying in wait for the new year ...

It isn't quite a completely off season for the Detroit Lions yet -- the team returns to organized team activities Tuesday morning -- but the summer and the six weeks of true rest for the club is coming fast.

Before it does, the Lions have two more OTA sessions, a mandatory minicamp and a bunch of other charity-and-camp type activities over the next few weeks. Among them are a softball game put on by linebacker Stephen Tulloch and center Dominic Raiola on June 7.

While things can always change, this year's game is scheduled to feature receivers Golden Tate and Calvin Johnson, running back Reggie Bush among others. The full list is here.
