Lions players watch, tweet about Oscars

The Oscars -- essentially the Super Bowl of the movie industry -- took place Sunday night and some of the Detroit Lions spent their night paying attention to it as well.

The franchise itself tried, somewhat oddly, to give out its own version of the Oscars using the same categories even though some of the matchups ended up being a bit weird.

As for the actual telecast, safety James Ihedigbo and running back Reggie Bush were very taken with the John Legend/Common performance of "Glory," from the movie, "Selma." The song ended up taking home the award for best song.

Another safety, Isa Abdul-Quddus, agreed with the best picture won by "Birdman."
