Seniors have given everything to Penn State

By Maggie Lucas

Penn State Seniors
Penn State's five seniors have just two games remaining in front of the home fans.

We’re approaching our last two home games of the season and the homestretch of the regular season. These will be our seniors’ last two games at the Bryce Jordan Center in front of our amazing fans. I can speak for the entire team and all of our staff and fans: We could not be more grateful for what our senior class has done for this program.

Our senior class is composed of Alex Bentley, Nikki Greene, Gizelle Studevent, Marisa Wolfe and Mia Nickson. This group has experienced the highs and lows and has always stayed loyal and committed to the goals Coach Quese has laid out for the team. They have acted as great leaders and have really given everything they have to Lady Lion Basketball and Penn State.

It will be impossible to replace such a talented, hardworking group, but what these seniors have done is lay the groundwork for what our team is all about. They have prepared the classes below them to follow their lead and continue a great culture of women’s basketball at Penn state.

This week we have a home game vs. Illinois on Wednesday, followed by our Pink Zone game against Michigan on Sunday. You can follow me on Twitter @maggielucas33 or the Lady Lions @pennstatewbb.
