|With a win over Michigan on Sunday, Penn State clinched a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship for the second year in a row.|
This weekend was a very exciting time for our program in all kinds of ways. To say the least, there was a lot going on in Happy Valley at the Bryce Jordan Center.
We honored our five seniors with Senior Day before the game, and it was our seventh annual Pink Zone at Penn State game. We capped it off by clinching a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship for the second consecutive year.

The Jordan Center was packed with 14,000-plus screaming fans all decked out in their finest pink supporting our team and the hundreds of breast-cancer survivors who attended the game.
Knowing we were playing for something bigger than ourselves, bigger than the championship we were pursuing, pushed us to play even harder and inspired us greatly. The Pink Zone game is usually everyone’s favorite game of the year, and having the chance to share the championship with such an amazing cause was a blessing for our team.
Beating Michigan on Sunday also completed a perfect 14-0 season at home. That was a fitting way to celebrate Senior Day, where we had the chance to honor our five amazing seniors for the tireless work and dedication they have given to this program. Our seniors come from all over the country, and it was great all of their families were able to make the trip to Happy Valley to see the game.
It was an awesome weekend for the Lady Lions program, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. This week we head to The Barn to take on the Golden Gophers on Thursday, followed by a trip to Nebraska this weekend.
