No Love Lost In Minnesota ... No, Really

Minnesota Timberwolves fans are understandably upset over the loss of Kevin Love, who was traded in principle on Thursday to the Cleveland Cavaliers. BUT ARE THEY UPSET ENOUGH TO BURN HIS JERSEYS ON THE STREET? No. No, they’re not. Unlike fans in Cleveland or Miami, the Minneapolis-area residents are just too gosh-darn polite for that. But they do wish him well and don’t really blame him for leaving! So there’s that.

Taking the shirt off your hands

Have an Andrew Wiggins Cleveland Cavaliers jersey that you have NO idea what to do with and aren’t feeling confident enough to make an ironic fashion statement?

The NBA Store is actually here to help.

After the Cavs traded the No. 1 draft pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves in principle on Thursday as part of the Kevin Love deal, thousands of fans were scratching their heads and wondering what to do with their recently purchased garment.

Thankfully, the NBA stepped in and has offered refunds to those stuck with the ill-fated jersey.

Fans can now spend their refunded money on a Love/Cavs jersey or a Wiggins/Timberwolves jersey. Or they can save the money and just make some alterations to an old one.

Now THAT’S a fashion statement.

This rocks: LeBron and Johnny!

Enjoy this Internet thing while you can because I’m pretty sure it’s about to completely break down. Pictures of LeBron James and Johnny Manziel TOGETHER are quickly circulating. The four-time MVP graced Cleveland Browns camp today with his presence and, of course, hung with his BFF Johnny. STOP THE PRESSES!

While LeBron is a self-proclaimed Dallas Cowboys fan, he’s made his Manziel friendship known and has been publicly supportive of the Browns’ decision to draft the QB. Hopefully LeBron broke the news gently to Johnny about the departure of his almost one-time party bro Andrew Wiggins due to the Kevin Love trade and assured him Love would make for a fine wing man.

LeBron also posed for photos with other players, watched practice and surely gloated to himself about his new teammate.

Just another day in the life of King James.

As you’ve probably heard by now from that annoying co-worker from Cleveland or your cousin on Facebook, the Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly agreed in principle to trade Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a 2015 first-round draft pick.

And with that, our national “BUT WHERE IS KEVIN LOVE GOING AND WHAT PUN CAN I MAKE WITH HIS LAST NAME?!?” nightmare is over.

Due to league rules, the trade cannot be finalized until Aug. 23 and blah, blah, blah. I know you really just want to see what the new-look Cavaliers will look like, so here you go. You can thank me later.

IS THIS THE NEW BIG THREE? Yes. Yes it is. If you need further proof, please just take a look at their combined averages from last season below.

Good luck, everyone else in the Eastern Conference. You’re going to need it.
