espnW: Miesha Tate
Before Miesha Tate takes on Ronda Rousey for the UFC women's bantamweight title, we asked her five questions in "W Wants to Know."
What do you need to consider your day complete? I have to work out. And I have to eat. I love bananas. If I haven't had a chance to eat, a banana is the first thing I want.
What's one thing you will never do? I will never fight a man unless I have to. Unless they're attacking me. It would just be really stupid. I think there's a difference. I train with men all the time so I'm well aware of the difference between men and women.
What song best describes your life? "Moment for Life" by Nicki Minaj. It talks about triumphing through adversity and when you get there, just enjoying that moment. She says she wishes she could have this moment for life. That's how I feel when I walk out to my fights. The lyrics in it are really, really powerful.
What's one thing you want to do outside of the octagon? I'd love to be in a movie. Play some badass chick in "Fast and Furious" or something like that. Something like what Gina Carano has done.
What's your biggest weakness? Cupcakes. I love baking and I love cupcakes. Salted caramel.
