The United States won the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup on Sunday with a 129-92 victory over Serbia. Kyrie Irving scored 26 points and was named the tournament MVP, James Harden added 23 points and the team combined to hit 15 of its 30 3-point attempts.
And while all that is awesome and all, I’m really just telling you this so I can share the video of the team celebrating by doing the Shmoney dance on the podium. You know, the hot new dance craze that’s sweeping the nation one Vine at a time? Everyone got involved in the action, minus Derrick Rose, who was likely too concerned he would injure himself in the process.
It’s times like these that really make me proud to be an American.
