DETROIT -- Ford Field hasn’t been good to Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Two years after the Green Bay Packers center got stomped on here by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, he left Thursday’s game in the second quarter with a knee injury.

His return was questionable.

Dietrich-Smith sustained a knee injury earlier this season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 10 in the second quarter and did not return. However, he came back to start the next week against the New York Giants.

Dietrich-Smith was not listed on the injury report this week.

Without him, the Packers moved right guard T.J. Lang to center and brought in Marshall Newhouse to play right guard. Newhouse had started the previous two games at right tackle while Don Barclay was out with a knee injury.

The Packers managed only 43 first-half yards and trailed 17-10 at halftime.
