GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson played only two snaps in the preseason -- the first two plays of the finale at Kansas City -- because of injuries, but the Green Bay Packers receiving duo appears to be full go for Sunday’s season opener at San Francisco.
Neither was even listed on the team’s injury report.
Cobb missed the first three preseason games because of a nagging biceps injury.
“I’m not having any problems with it,” Cobb said Thursday. “I’m good to go.”
Nelson underwent knee surgery on Aug. 5 and returned to practice 20 days later.
“Jordy looks good,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. “He looks like he’s back to himself. He’s had a couple of weeks to get ready for this, so I feel very good about where Jordy is.”
Likewise, cornerback Tramon Williams, who missed all but the preseason finale because of a bruised knee, also was not listed on the injury report.
There were no changes from Wednesday’s report. Cornerback/special teams ace Jarrett Bush (ankle) was a limited participant in practice but is expected to play against the 49ers. Cornerback Casey Hayward (hamstring) has been ruled out.
