Green Bay Packers: Clay Matthes

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Another game, another hamstring injury for the Green Bay Packers.

This time, they lost starting inside linebacker Brad Jones late in the first half against the Detroit Lions.

Jones was ruled out for the game.

The Packers have experienced a slew of hamstring injuries this season. Cornerback Casey Hayward has yet to play this season because of the injury. Safety Morgan Burnett missed the first three games of the season because of the same injury and made his season debut on Sunday. Fullback John Kuhn, linebacker Clay Matthews and cornerback Jarrett Bush also have missed time this season because of hamstring issues.

Jones actually first sustained a hamstring injury this summer in a preseason game against Seattle, but returned in time for the regular-season opener.

Robert Francois replaced Jones, but A.J. Hawk took over Jones’ duties as the defensive signal caller.

UPDATE: Francois didn't make it through the third quarter. He left with a right ankle injury and his return was doubtful. He was replaced by Jamari Lattimore.
