The coaches for the McDonald's All-American Game have been announced. It's an experienced crew. Gordon Kerkman, currently the head coach at Aurora West (Aurora, Ill.), will coach the Boys West team, while Scott County (Georgetown, Ky.) coach Billy Hicks will oversee the Boys East squad.

Kerkman won't have to travel far for the contest. He has won 726 games in his 36 seasons at Aurora West, including an Illinois state championship in 2000. Hicks has won 807 games in his 32-year career, with a pair of state titles to his credit.

With more than 1,500 career victories between the coaches, the McDonald's teams will be in good hands. Now, does that mean they'll be able to get their players to man up on defense? Probably not. But the offensive execution should benefit from the coaches' experience.

The McDonald's All-American Game is set for March 28 (9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN) at the United Center in Chicago.
