UMBC picks up transfer from N.C. State

Mamadou Kansaye, a midfielder who started six matches and made 15 appearances with North Carolina State as a freshman in 2010, confirmed to ESPNHS on Sunday that he is transfering to UMBC for the 2012 season.

Kansaye was a youth standout for the Baltimore Bays club team and the McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) high school team.

Kansaye is the third confirmed commitment to UMBC for 2012, joining Patrick Pilawe Pato from Maryland and Matt Schwarz from Texas.
