Concorde Fire keeper opts for Bucknell

Vaughn Moore, a Class of 2012 goalkeeper from Atlanta, Ga., confirmed that he has verbally committed to Bucknell.

Moore plays for the Concorde Fire in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. Last season, he started 19 of 22 matches, helping the Fire to a 20-2-3 season.

He attends Marist (Atlanta, Ga.).

Moore joins a recruiting class that includes Patrick Figgie of Connecticut, Jesse Klug of Washington and Mike Lansing of New Jersey.

Other Schools Condisered: Carnegie Mellon, Holy Cross, Lafayette

Why Bucknell?: "Bucknell combines a great academic and soccer program, and I really like the Patriot League."

What did you learn about the recruiting process?: "Concorde coaches prepared us well for the recruiting process starting when we were in the 10th grade with the main idea of being patient and looking at several choices."
