Alan Reiter, who scored a goal in his only appearance with North Carolina State, is transfering to Davidson, ESPNHS learned.

The Westport, Conn., native made one appearance during the 2010 season and scored a goal against Louisville. He missed the rest of the season due to mono and received a medical redshirt, according to North Carolina State. He did not see any action during the 2011 season.

Reiter is a former standout at Staples (Westport, Conn.), where he won a high school state title and was a first-team all-state performer. He played club soccer for Beachside SC.

Reiter joins a Davidson recruiting class that includes North Carolina natives George Kaloudis, John Pouliot and C.J. Tikvart, Virginia natives Shane Macnamara and Valeriy Sviderskiy, Tennessee product Andrew Kenneson and California product T.J. Casner.
