Mississippi player picks Houston Baptist

Dyllon Beasley, a senior at Presbyterian Christian Academy (Hattiesburg, Miss.), has verbally committed to Houston Baptist.

The Class of 2012 forward plays club soccer for the Houston Dynamo-Mississippi program. He formerly played for Central Jackson.

Beasley is part of a Presbyterian Christian high school soccer team that starts the winter season ranked No. 3 among Mississippi private schools by the Clarion Ledger.

Beasley also competes in track at Presbyterian and was part of a state title-winning 4x200 team last spring.

He joins Diego Gutierrez as Houston Baptist's two confirmed early commitments.
