Texas defender selects Air Force
Ryan Ward, who plays midfield in high school and defender in club soccer, has verbally committed to Air Force, according to his high school coach.
Ward is a Class of 2012 prospect from Frisco, Texas. He plays club soccer for the Dallas Texans in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He has appeared in nine of the Texans' 13 matches this season, starting in four of them.
He attends Wakeland (Frisco, Texas), where he is expected to play high school soccer in the upcoming season.
Ward is the fourth confirmed commitment to Air Force, joining Blake Elder of Texas, Brian Hoxie of Florida and Joseph Spechock of Arizona.
