Melvin Snoh, a highly recruited forward/midfielder from Coatesville, Pa., confirmed Monday evening that he has committed to Georgetown.
Snoh helped Penn Fusion Celtic to a US Youth Soccer National Championships runner-up finish this past summer. He is the No. 86 player on the ESPNHS 150 for the Class of 2012.
This past fall, Snoh played for Melvern Prep (Malvern, Pa.), where he earned All-Inter-Ac honors for the third straight year. Snoh's foot skills and work in tight spaces earned him considerable attention from college coaches. His play is in stark contrast to Josh Turnley, another goal-scoring forward from Pennsylvania who was recruited to Georgetown.
In addition to Snoh and Turnley, who netted 100 career high school goals, Georgetown's recruiting class includes Brandon Allen from New Jersey, Cole Sieler from South Carolina, David Witkoff from Ohio and Keegan Rosenberry, a Pennsylvania product who is a club teammate with Snoh.
