UC Irvine lands Real Salt Lake-AZ keeper

Elliot Farmer, a Class of 2012 goalkeeper prospect from Albuquerque, N.M., has committed to UC Irvine, his family confirmed Wednesday.

Farmer is the starting keeper for the Real Salt Lake-AZ under-17/18 Development Academy squad.

This season, he has started 18 of his 22 appearances for RSL-AZ, helping the team to a current second-place standing in the SoCal Division.
