Canterbury Prep claims Indiana A crown

Canterbury Prep (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) won the inaugural Class A state title in Indiana on Saturday, and in doing so made a strong case to be the overall No. 1 for the state. Canterbury Prep finished the season 18-1-4 and included in those wins was a 3-0 victory over the 2A runner-up Columbus North.

This was the first year Indiana separated its schools into two divisions.

For Canterbury and longtime coach Greg Mauch, it was the program's fourth state title.
