Michael Kozielek, a Class of 2012 forward prospect from Illinois, confirmed Monday morning that he has committed to De Paul.

The senior from South Elgin (South Elgin, Ill.) was a two-time Daily Herald All-Area team selection. He scored 11 goals and added seven assists this past season. Kozielek had 26 goals over the past two high school seasons.

He made three appearances with the Chicago Fire under-17/18 squad in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy last season.

He is the third confirmed commitment to De Paul for the Class of 2012, along with Missouri natives Joe Brinkwirth and Drew Dempsey.
