James Debenham, a forward from Auckland, New Zealand, who represented the country at the Under-17 World Cup in Mexico this past summer, confirmed to ESPNHS on Monday that he has committed to New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Debenham had an assist on one of New Zealand's four goals at the Under-17 World Cup, where the team reached the Round of 16. New Zealand and the U.S. played to a scoreless draw in the final group match, which allowed both teams to advance to the Round of 16. Debenham appeared in three of the team's four World Cup matches.

Debenham recently graduated from KingsWay High School in New Zealand and plays club soccer for Waitakere United.
