Zachary Biggs, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound goalkeeper from West Pines United in Florida, verbally committed to the University of Central Florida, ESPNHS learned Thursday.

Biggs had seven shutouts last school year, helping Cypress Bay (Weston, Fla.) to the Class 6A state title. He earned first-team all-county honors in 2011.

Biggs played a major part in West Pines United winning the Weston Cup in February.

He is the fifth player to commit to Central Florida for the Class of 2012 and the third from Florida. He joins Florida natives Jeffrey Michaud and Nino Stewart, along with Mason Miller from Texas and Michael Russo from Virignia.
