Michigan native transfers to Michigan State

After three seasons at Wake Forest, Luke Norman is transfering to Michigan State for his senior season, according to his family.

Norman, a defender/midfielder, played in every match for Wake Forest during the 2008, 2009 and 2010 seasons. He was not part of the 2011 Wake Forest program. He had six career goals and two assists.

Norman is a native of Rochester, Mich., where he attended Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, Mich.).

He joins a recruiting class that includes Zachary Bennett of Texas, Jay Chapman of Canada, Andrew Herr of Pennsylvania, Zach Hollstrom of Missouri and Sean Conerty, Jerome Cristobal and Brent McIntosh of Michigan.
