Grand Rapids Crew player picks UD-Mercy

By Sheldon Shealer

Tyler Moorman became the second Class of 2013 prospect from the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors to verbally commit to Detroit Mercy, ESPNHS learned.

Moorman joins club teammate Adam Clauss in his commitment to Detroit Mercy.

Moorman is a 6-foot-2 defender who also plays in the midfield for club and high school. This past high school season he had four goals and 12 assists for perennial state title challenger East Kentwood (Kentwood, Mich.).

He is the third Class of 2013 commitment to Detroit-Mercy, joining Clauss and Zack Atwood.
