Georgia United's Connor Davis is part of what he calls a strong back line that keeps the Development Academy under-17/18 team in games.

"We have the talent back there, and we're pretty organized," said Davis, an 18-year-old defender who is bound for Wofford College. "Up front, we have guys with speed who can break down other defenses."

It is that combination that has helped Georgia United to surge into third place in the Southeast Division of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's South Conference, heading into a weekend trip to Virginia this Saturday and Sunday.
