NJIT picks up New Jersey midfielder

Jorge Lopez, a Class of 2012 midfielder prospect from Morristown, N.J., confirmed to ESPNHS that he has commited to New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Lopez plays club soccer for the New Jersey Rangers. He played high school soccer at Morristown (N.J.).

Lopez joins a large recruiting class for NJIT that includes James Debenham from New Zealand, Michael DeLuise from New Jersey, Christian Esposito, Jason Gonzalez, Enrique Hidalgo, Jimmy Myers and Jason Scolaro from New York and Josh Mercer from Delaware.
