Strikeout kings once again steal the spotlight as San Pasqual’s Kevin Grendell nearly sets San Diego Section record with 20 in one game while Tracy’s Jonah Wesely starts out a five-inning no-hitter with 13 in a row.

Angel Acosta (Gabrielino, San Gabriel)
The strikeouts kept coming for Acosta as well in a 5-0 win by Gabrielino last week over Mountain View of El Monte. He ended with 16 although he did give up six hits. Acosta tossed a no-hitter in his previous start.
