It’s a monster week for softball honor roll, including two homers in a game by All-American candidate Gabrielle Maurice and three from All-American candidate Darian Tautalafua. Week’s best also includes one girl with two grand slams and nine RBIs in one game.

MacKenzie Conarro (St. Francis, Sacramento)
Her 33 points was a team-high, but it was not enough for the defending CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I champions to pick up a playoff win as they suffered a 70-57 loss to Kennedy of Sacramento.

Nirra Fields (Mater Dei, Santa Ana)
An expected close game against previously undefeated Santiago of Corona turned into a rout as she scored 27 points and the Monarchs defeated the Sharks 71-32 in the CIFSS Division IAA semifinals on Tuesday. Earlier in the playoffs, Fields had games of 31 and 41 points.
