Troup County (LaGrange, Ga.) football coach Charles Flowers was fired recently after two seasons on the job, according to WTVM in Columbus, Ga. No specific reason was given for his firing.
"The decision was made last week not to renew his employment agreement or assignment and it was made in the best interest of the Troup County School system," Troup County Schools spokeswoman Tina Duckett told WTVM.

The biggest news out of the firing is that Flowers was the head coach of stud junior linebacker Reuben Foster, an Alabama commit who's one of the nation's top recruits in the Class of 2013. Foster said on the WTVM video that he might not play for Troup if Flowers isn't brought back.
