Foster, Nkemdiche selected to ESPNHS All-American Team

The ESPNHS All-America Football team dropped today, and Georgia had a pair of defensive studs selected to the squad.

Junior defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche of state champ Grayson and junior linebacker Reuben Foster of Troup County were both selected to the first team. Nkemdiche recorded 18 sacks on defense and also made an impact on offense in short yardage and goal line situations. His effort powered the Rams to the Class AAAAA title and the No. 4 spot in the final POWERADE FAB 50. Foster was a tackling machine this fall, recording 185 total stops to go with 14 sacks. The Alabama commit anchored a defense that yielded 13.8 points a contest in 2011.

Also making the list were Buford senior OL Vadal Alexander (first team, Cartersville senior punter Collin Barber (second) and Marist senior kicker Austin Hardin.
