Miller Grove hoops to face nation's No. 1 team

By David Auguste

The Miller Grove basketball team will play in the second of its three nationally televised contests Saturday night when it takes on Simeon (Chicago), the No. 1 squad in the POWERADE FAB 50.

The game is part of the Cancer Research Classic in West Virginia and tips off at 8 on ESPN2. The contest will feature two of the nation's top recruits in Miller Grove senior center Tony Parker (No. 31 in the ESPNU 100) and Simeon junior swingman Jabari Parker (No. 1 in the ESPNU 60). With a win, Miller Grove will put an end to a four-game losing skid and prove it belongs among the nation's elite. The Wolverines' losing streak began with an 82-78 loss to Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) on ESPN.
