We’ve broken down the state’s top 20 players into four teams based on their talent, and included several other players who just missed the cut. Keep in mind, these selections are based on past accomplishments and projected on-court performance in addition to recruit rankings.

Milton baller Evan Nolte's welcome.

Like my man Evan Nolte said in the video above, I’d like to welcome you all to the ESPNHS Georgia Blog. We’re hoping to be your one-stop shop for news and videos on the Peach State’s top athletes and teams, as well as all the latest recruiting news. I’ll be pumping out content daily but if you know a topic that I’ve missed, hit me up (David.Auguste@ESPN.com or on Twitter: @ESPNHSAuguste) and let me know. I hope this blog provides readers with a deeper look at the area's athletes and prep sports across the state.

Enough with the boring intro stuff, let’s get into it.

Since it’s football season, we’ve decided to kick things off today with a look at the local preseason team rankings, the All-State squad and a feature on arguably the nation’s top recruit — a pass-rushing beast who just happens to hail from Georgia.
