Natalie Randolph: A standout football coach

Last month we highlighted some of the many girls who are making an impact on their high school football teams, in a wide variety of positions.

Now how's this for a twist?

Natalie Randolph, believed to be the only female varsity football coach in the nation and only the third woman ever to hold such a position, has led Coolidge (Washington, D.C.) to the D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association championship game held on Thanksgiving and nicknamed the "Turkey Bowl."

After a rough start a year ago that included five consecutive losses, Coolidge is 8-2 and Randolph is turning doubters into believers.
