The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team forward Summer Green scored three times in the first half to put an early end to any potential drama as the U.S. defeated Mexico 3-0 in Guatemala City on Monday to win Group B at the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship. The victory earned the USA a semifinal matchup with Group A runner-up Panama for a berth to the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team defeated Trinidad & Tobago 5-0 on Saturday at the Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to qualify for the all-important semifinal match at the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship. Emily Bruder and Joanna Boyles each had a goal and assist while Summer Green tallied once with two assists as the U.S. U-17s broke down the Trinidad defense with a four-goal second half.

The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team defeated the Bahamas 10-0 to open Group B play at the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship on Thursday at Estadio Cementos Progreso.

Midfielder Summer Green had five goals, including four in the first half, to pace a U.S. attack that was in complete control over the full 90 minutes. Margaret Purce also added three goals and an assist as the U.S. team outshot the overmatched Bahamians 52-1.

The U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team kicks off the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship on Thursday, May 3, when it faces the Bahamas (4 p.m. ET) in what will be the first-ever match for a U.S. WNT against the island nation. The USA will continue Group B play against Trinidad & Tobago on Saturday, May 5 (4 p.m. ET) and finish the first round against Mexico on Monday, May 7 (6:30 p.m. ET). All the matches will be played on an artificial surface at the Estadio Cementos Progreso, home to popular Guatemala professional side C.S.D. Comunicaciones.
