ODP Nationals: Cal-South teams advance

California-South advanced both teams to the finals and New Jersey is aiming for a repeat following Friday's semifinal action at the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program championships in Frisco, Texas.

The event features the four ODP regional champions for teams comprised of players born in 1995 and 1996.

1996 Group

Colleen Gawkins scored the lone goal to send Virginia to the final with a 1-0 victory over Michigan. Meanwhile, Pilar Torres scored both goals as California-South edged Florida 2-1 in the other semifinal.
