Gracie Lachowecki, a Class of 2013 forward from Evansville, Ind., has verbally committed to Miami (Fla.), ESPNHS has learned.

Lachowecki, a highly sought after Class of 2013 recruit, made waves this summer at the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships when she scored nine goals in just three matches for SWISA Rush. She also plays on the Regional ODP team.

Lachowecki has also been recognized for her high school play at Reitz Memorial (Evansville, Ind.). She was one of only two sophomores named to the ESPNHS Indiana State All-Stars in Fall 2010. Despite an injury that forced her to miss a handful of games, Lachowecki still leads Memorial in scoring this season. The Tigers are undefeated at 12-0-3, and are currently No. 9 in the POWERADE FAB 50 rankings.
