Ibarra has lived in three different states in the past five years, but has competed at a high level of soccer in each of them. She played varsity soccer as a freshman at Central Hardin (Cecilia, Ky.), then played varsity as a sophomore at John Rogers (Puyallup, Wash.) and now plays on the varsity squad as a junior at Puyallup (Puyallup, Wash.).

On the club side, she currently competes for Washington Premier in the ECNL. She has also spent time with the Fayetteville Force (N.C.), Atletico Flames (Ky.), and Mockingbird Valley (Ky.).
