By Chris Ackels

Elyssa Anderson, a Class of 2013 defender from Cincinnati, Ohio, has verbally committed to Duquesne, her family has confirmed to ESPNHS.

Anderson is a four-time US Youth Soccer Ohio-South Olympic Development Program participant and she currently plays for Ohio Elite in the ECNL. She also plays high school soccer at McAuley (Cincinnati), where she is a team captain and second team all-conference goalkeeper.

Anderson is the third confirmed commit to Duquesne for the Class of 2013, joining Olivia Roberson and Haley Yow.
