Why Florida?: "I really love the college atmosphere at the University of Florida and how it is a college town that strongly supports its university. When I visited there I felt at home and definitely saw myself going there. I love the school spirit that they have for all the sports at Florida and how the students really get into the game day experience. The academics and athletics were both very good at UF which was very important to me. The coaches are great, and I know I will learn a lot from them while I am there. The girls on the soccer team were all really nice and made me feel welcome when I visited there."
What did you learn about the recruiting process?: "I was really surprised how early the recruiting process began. I started getting recruited late in my freshman year when I began contacting different colleges to come watch me play at the showcase tournaments that my club (Ponte Vedra) team played in. I was also surprised with how strict the NCAA rules were when it came to you and the college coaches making contact with each other."
